Al Ghurair Iron & Steel LLC is the first & only Steel Cold Rolling &Galvanizing complex in the United Arab Emirates. Located strategically in the Industrial City of Abu Dhabi (ICAD), Mussafah, Abu Dhabi, the 350,000TPA facility caters to the requirement of the construction, fabrication & other non-automotive industries primarily in the MENA region. AGIS is a joint venture of the Al Ghurair Group, UAE and Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation, Japan. The main production lines include a Semi-continuous Pickling Line, a 6-Hi Reversing Cold Rolling Mill and a continuous galvanizing line. Product Range & Capabilities: a) Hot Rolled Pickled & Oiled Coils (HRPO) - Thickness :1.2 to 4.5 mm - 350,000 MT/annum b) Cold Rolled Full Hard Coils (CRFH) - Thickness : 0.20 to 2.50 mm - 250,000 MT/annum c) Hot Dip Galvanized Coils - Thickness : 0.30 to 2.50 mm - 200,000 MT/annum. Galvanized Steel Sheets and slit coils are also offered as per customer requirement. The main raw materials - HRC & Zinc are procured from reputed steel mills & Zinc smelters from all over the world. The convenience of being close to the seaports of Abu Dhabi & Jebel Ali is seen in the ease of shipments to all parts of the world - both in containers and by break bulk. The company also uses the road network & systematic transport facilities to cater to the GCC markets. Consumers have the ease of getting their material delivered at their doorstep straight from the Mill.
