Ritver offers several aluminium paints for different applications, including standard protective and decorative coatings, as well as specialized high-temperature-resistant formulas. All are designed to provide a lustrous, durable metallic finish for both interior and exterior use. Standard aluminium paintsRitver's general-purpose aluminium paint is a modified alkyd resin-based paint containing aluminium flake. Properties:Creates a tough, durable, and hardwearing finish.Offers excellent flow, hiding power, and gloss retention.Use: Suitable as both a decorative and protective coating for metal and timber surfaces.Heat resistance: Can withstand temperatures up to approximately 220°C.Application: Can be applied by conventional roller or spray.
High-temperature aluminium paintsFor surfaces exposed to extreme heat, Ritver offers more specialized aluminium paints. Therm Aluminium Paint Heat 400CComposition: A modified silicon-based coating.Properties: Formulated to resist temperatures up to 600°C, though its peak properties develop around 400°C.Use: Can be used as a primer, mid-coat, or topcoat in atmospheric environments.Therm Aluminium Paint Heat 600CComposition: Based on inorganic binders with thermally stable aluminium pigment.Properties: Resists intermittent exposure up to 600°C and continuous exposure up to 500°C.Curing: For best results, it requires heat curing at 200°C to 250°C for 30–60 minutes after application.Use: Ideal for surfaces of kilns, furnaces, boilers, exhaust pipes, and other metals exposed to high temperatures.
Preparation and applicationFor optimal results with Ritver aluminium paints, proper surface preparation is necessary. Preparation: Ensure the substrate is clean and dry. A priming system may be recommended for certain materials, such as Ritver Synthetic Red Oxide followed by an undercoat for metals.Application: Proper ventilation is recommended. The paint can be applied by brush, roller, or spray, with specific instructions provided for dilution and spray pressure.
