How to use Ritver Chalkboard PaintFor a successful application, follow these general steps: Prepare the surface: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of contaminants. Remove any flaking paint or rust, fill in holes or cracks, and sand any old glossy surfaces to a dull finish.Apply a primer (if needed): A primer or undercoat is recommended for new wood and porous surfaces.Apply the paint: Apply one to two coats of Ritver Chalkboard Paint with a spray gun, brush, or roller.
