Surface preparation and applicationFor the best results, Ritver recommends following specific surface preparation steps before applying the putty. On concrete, plaster, and masonry:Ensure the surface is clean and dry, free from all contaminants.Remove any laitance (a weak, powdery layer on concrete) using a wire brush or sweep blast.Apply one coat of Ritver PVA Primer and allow it to dry completely before applying the putty.
