Application detailsBefore applying Ritver Gypsum Joint Compound, ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of contaminants. Preparation: A primer, such as Ritver PVA Primer Sealer, should be applied and allowed to dry before applying the compound.Mixing: For easier application, 5% to 10% of "sweet water" (clean, fresh water) can be added.Application: The compound should be applied evenly with a putty knife or a broad-bladed knife.Drying: At 30°C (86°F), the compound is set to the touch in 30 minutes to 1 hour. It is ready for a second coat after 3 to 4 hours.Finishing: After drying, the surface can be lightly sanded to remove imperfections and achieve a smooth finish.
