The business has grown dramatically since then and in year 2000 the group ventured into safety equipments and consumables. In the year 2001 went forward integration in medicines and entered into the business of pharmacies. The recent entry was into cleaning chemicals meant for food processing industries and for the C.S.S.D Department in hospitals. In United Arab Emirates we are the sole distributor of Dr Weigert Chemische Fabrick, Germany. Although the group main business remains as wholesalers in medicines the other units have also picked up and are contributing tremendously to the growth of Ibn Rushd Group. Ibn Rushd Group is a partnership setup with a local partner and is managed by Mr. Mathew George as general manager. Ibn Rushd Group has seen tremendous growth and has opened branches in Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Kahimah. The Group has been very discerning in the selection of the new lines of business.
