Indian Pilgrims Urged to Complete Hajj 2025 Bookings by 15th of April

Indian Pilgrims planning to perform Haj this year are urged to complete their booking by 15th April, 2025. In accordance with the latest directives issued by the Ministry of Haj & Umrah in Saudi Arabia, the deadline for issuing Hajj Visa is set for 18th April, 2025.

All pilgrims who are planning to perform Hajj in 2025 through private tour operators, are now required to complete their bookings by the 15th of April to ensure a smooth, organized travel process & obtain the Hajj Visa on time.

In previous years, the Hajj visas were issued approximately up to one week prior to Hajj season. Majority of the bookings through Indian Private Tour Operators were made after the month of Ramadan. Nabil Khan, Spokesperson for 3N Travel & Tourist Bureau, one of the authorized lead Haj Group Organisers(HGO) & leading one of the CHGO’s in India, which has Indian Hajj passengers traveling from all over the world, talking from his UAE office has stated,“We strongly advise all pilgrims planning to perform Hajj through Indian Private Hajj Tour Operators, to finalize their bookings before 15th of April 2025, in compliance with the ministry’s current timeline. All 26 CHGO’S of India have written to the Ministry of Minority Affairs, India to request from the Ministry of Haj & Umrah, KSA to extend the deadline for the visa issuance, but the same cannot be confirmed as of now. Hence completing the booking before the current deadline would ensure their visa issuance. We also urge pilgrims to book through registered Private tour operators who have received the quota for the current year. All the authorized HGO’s for 2025 have received the quota certificate and the same can be requested to verify the authenticity of the Hajj organizer. Please avoid booking through unauthorized operators to avoid any inconvenience”.

Indian Private Tour operators have been allotted a quota of 52,507 pilgrims for Hajj 2025. The quota has been allocated earlier compared to the previous years. Authorities have urged all intending pilgrims and travel operators to adhere strictly to the deadlines. Deadlines for visa issuance have been issued by the Ministry of Hajj & Umrah, Saudi Arabia and the same has been shared with the Ministry of Minority Affairs, India and in turn with all the Private Tour Operators in India.
