Breast cancer is the most diagnosed cancer in women in the US and the second leading cause of cancer death. Detecting breast cancer early is critical, but almost half of women don’t get their yearly mammogram. Additionally, today’s mammograms miss almost 35% of cancers. 

The Koning True 3D Breast CT (KBCT) produces high-contrast 3D images of the breast with exceptional spatial resolution, no painful compression and in a rapid 10-second exposure at radiation levels in the range of diagnostic mammograms.

A panel of judges in the European Patent Office upheld the validity of their KBCT patent, which Koning says, "making us the only company with a commercialized, breast-only CT scanner." They are now FDA certified, and have regulatory approval for Canada, Singapore, Australia, Thailand and Qatar.
